Welcome to my page! Despite the many interests that I have throughout engineering, I have also found lots of things that I like to do outside work or school. Two things I like to do are play soccer and do circus. While both of these things aren't as big of a part of my life as they are when school is out I try to find time when I can to kick the ball around, juggle, unicycle, or all three at once.
Circus has definitely helped me become a good multitasker in that sense, and has also taught me a lot about working with diverse teams and also how to create unique solutions to new or difficult problems. I especially like when I can apply circus to engineering or vice versa, like how math can be used to create new juggling patterns using siteswap theory, or how the circus act creation process carries over into engineering design. Both demand a balance between what requires the most effort from the creator, and what impresses the audience or the customer the most.
I am driven to be creative in the way I do my work and come up with solutions to problems that others wouldn't have considered. I like to approach problems that others might find tedious or complex and I like to create solutions to problems that simplify them down to their simplest parts. I want to make the world an easier place to live in.
